I have been wanting to make this doll for quite a while now...and with
Easter on the way I thought it would be the perfect time to do it...she is
perfect to take to Mass or Adoration...she has a special pocket that
holds a Rosary...when my youngest daughter was little we use to
go to Adoration once a week and I would of loved for her to of had a doll like this 
to take with her...she is simple to make and I decided to make her a free pattern
for Easter this year...I hope she encourages your child to pray the Rosary...

Hook used in Pattern:
E 3.5mm

Yarns used in Pattern:
Red Heart Super Saver Yarns in
White
Buff
Black
Turquoise

Other Materials used in Pattern:
10mm Safety Eyes
Stitch Marker
Tapestry Needle
Needle & Thread
Poly Fiber Fill
Embroidery Floss in Black
Pink Powder Blush & Q-Tip
Optional: 1 1" Cross (do not use if making this for a toddler)

This pattern is worked in the round, so use a stitch marker.
To make the Feet: with Black Yarn & E Hook (make 2)
Ch2
Row 1. 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc in 12sts
Rows 4-5. repeat row 3
Change to Buff Yarn & stuff feet
Rows 6-26. repeat row 3 and FO.
When you have both legs done attach them together with white yarn.

 Row 1. Attach with a slst through both legs and ch1, wk 1sc in the same st as the slst, 1sc in 11sts around the 1st leg.
Row 2.  wk 1sc in 12sts around the 2nd leg-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc in 3, 2sc in next st-30sts.

The past week I've been caring for my pup Gracie who unfortunately got into some putty that had fallen off a shelf without us knowing about it until it was too late...needless to say she got very sick...she was throwing up, couldn't eat or drink anything...we took her to the vet and they were able thankfully to make her healthy again!! They were awesome ran x-rays, 
gave her fluids and took away the vomiting, etc..
Well she's now eating her boiled chicken again and doing great!!

2nd Ear:

Skip the first stitch next to the ear, attach yarn in the next stitch with a slip stitch, ch1, wk 1sc into the same stitch as the slip stitch, wk 1sc in 7sts, 1sc in 3 along the side of the head, ch1 & turn.
Repeat rows 64-92 of the first ear, ch1 and wk 1sc around entire piece and FO.
If making the pillow: put the 2 sides together and wk 1sc all the way around, leave an opening and stuff ears and body then close and FO.

If making the Calendar:
Make and sew the pockets and number buttons on before assembling calendar.
Wk 1sc around the inside of the ears, leaving the edge of each ear opened, stop and cut-out cardboard or plastic canvas to fit inside. Then continue working 1sc all the way around and FO.
(On the right ear only put plastic canvas on the lower portion, leaving the tip
empty. This allowed me to sew the tip down).




To make the Pockets for the Calendar: with color of your choosing & D Hook
Ch9
Row 1. 1sci n 8, ch1 7 turn.
Row 2. 2sc, 1sc in 6, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Row 3. 1sc in 10, ch1 & turn.
Row 4. 2sc, 1sc in 8, 2sc, ch1 & turn.
Rows 5-6. 1sc in 12, ch1 & turn.
Change color
Row 7. 1sc all the way around and FO.
Make 12 or as many as you desire.
Sew number buttons onto the front of each pocket and then sew the pockets onto the front panel of the calendar.


This is a great project to use all those scrap pieces...easy to make and 

fun for the kids...use the napkin rings on the kids table for your 
Easter Feast...I like making kids feel special and their table 
often gets ignored because we don't want anything getting 
broken...but this takes the worry out of that... 
You could even hang the Bunny Banner around the edge of the table!

To make the Ring piece: with color of choice & D Hook

Row 1. 1sc in 24sts, ch1 & turn.

Make it into a ring after you attach the ears.


To make the Bunny Ears: with color of choice & D Hook (make 2 for each ring)

After I was done making all my bunnies I noticed that they didn't lay flat...so I cut-out some plastic canvas and sewed it to the backs of each bunny.

To make the buckle: with Gold Yarn & G Hook
Ch29 join & ch1
Row 1. 1sc 6, 3sc, 1sc in 6, 3sc, 1sc in 6, 3sc, 1sc in 6, 3sc, join & ch1.
Row 2. 1sc in each st around and FO.
Attach yarn in the center at the top of ch29, ch enough to reach to the bottom and wk 1slst into the ch and FO.


To make the hat band: with Black Yarn & G Hook
Ch91
Row 1. 1sc in 90, ch1 & turn.
Rows 2-6. Repeat row 1, FO at the end of row 6.
Slide the belt buckle through and sew the two ends together.

BROBEE Hat
Size Toddler/Sm. Child
Materials used to make BROBEE Hat:
Red Heart Yarns in Glowworm
Dark Green
Red

Other Materials used:
Needle & Red/Black Thread
Poly Fiber Fill
Glue

Hooks used: H, G

To make the BROBEE hat: with Glowworm Yarn & H Hook
Ch3
Row 1. wk 8hdc in the 3ch from the hook.
Row 2. 2hdc in each st around-16sts.
Row 3. 1hdc, 2hdc in the next st around-24sts.
Row 4. 1hdc in 2, 2hdc in the next st around-32sts.
Row 5. 1hdc in 3, 2hdc in the next st around-40sts.
Row 6. 1hdc in 4, 2hdc in the next st around-48sts.
Row 7. 1hdc in 13, 2hdc in the next st around-60sts.
Row 8. 1hdc in 60sts.
Rows 9-17. repeat row 8
Change to Dark Green
Row 18. 1hdc in each st around.
Rows 19-20. repeat row 18 and FO (I like the color change in the back).
Make ear flaps: change to Glowworm
Row1. 1hdc in 12sts, ch2 & turn.
Row 2. dec1hdc, 1hdc 8sts, dec1hdc, ch2 & turn.
Change to Dark Green
Row 3. 1hdc in 10sts, ch2 & turn.
Row 4. dec1hdc, 1hdc in 6, dec1hdc, ch2 & turn.
Change to Glowworm
Row 5. 1hdc in 8sts, ch2 & turn.
Row 6. dec1hdc, 1hdc in 4, dec1hdc, ch2 & turn.
Change to Dark Green
Row 7. 1hdc in 6sts, ch2 & turn.
Row 8. dec1hdc, 1hdc in 2, dec1hdc, ch2 & turn.
Change to Glowworm
Row 9. dec1hdc, dec1hdc, ch2 & turn.
Row 10. dec1hdc and FO.
Skip 24sts and make the 2nd ear flap repeating rows 1-10
Once both ear flaps are done, attach red yarn with a slst and wk 1sc all the way around the entire hat including ear flaps and FO.

Use a stitch marker
To make the red spikes: with Red Yarn & G Hook (make 3)
Ch2
Row 1. 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st around-12sts.
Rows 3-4. 1sc in 12sts
Row 5. 1sc, 2sc in the next st-18sts.
Rows 6-7. 1sc in 18sts
Row 8. 1sc in 2, 2sc in the next st-24sts.
Rows 9-10. 1sc in 24sts and FO.
Stuff the spikes lightly and sew to the top of the hat.
To make the eyebrow: with Black Yarn & G Hook
Ch23
wk 1slst in 22sts and FO.
Sew just a little bit below the spikes.

To make the mouth: with Red Yarn & G Hook
Ch25
Row 1. 1sc 23, 3sc in the last st, now working on the other side of the chain, 1sc in 22, 2sc in the last st and FO.
With a tapestry needle and black yarn weave in a black line in the middle of the red mouth. Sew the mouth in place.

To make the strands for the Pom-Poms to hang from: with Dark Green Yarn & G Hook (make 2)
Attach yarn to the bottom of the ear flaps with a slst & ch1, wk 1sc into the same st as the slst, ch21, wk 1slst in 20sts, wk another slst into the same st as the first sc to join and FO.
Make 2 pom-poms: I wrapped 1 strands of yarn Glowworm & Red together about 160x.

To make the eyes: with white felt cut-out 2 oval shapes, then cut-out a black oval shape just a tiny bit bigger than the white one. If sewing put the black under the white oval and sew in place. If using hot glue, glue the black oval to the hat, glue the black small center piece to the white oval. With a clear drying glue, glue the white oval on top of the black oval.

This is a great crochet project super easy and fun

Plus it's makes great kids take along toy for when going out!!

Red Heart Yarns used in Pattern:
Yellow
Blue
Black
Grey
Light Raspberry

Other Materials used:
Felt in (yellow, white, brown and black)
Sewing Needle & Thread
Tapestry Needle
Stitch Marker
Glue

Hooks used:
G, D

To make the Bag: with Blue Yarn & G Hook (make 2)
Ch25
Row 1. 1sc in 24sts, ch1 & turn.
Rows 2-15. repeat row 1, FO blue and continue to row 16.
Attach Yellow Yarn with a slst and ch1 
Row 16. 1sc in the FLO in each st across, ch1 & turn-26sts.











Rows 17-30. 1sc in each st across, ch1 & turn.
Row 31. 1sc in the BLO in each st, ch1 & turn.








Row 32. 1sc in each st, ch1 & turn.
Rows 33-47. repeat row 32, FO row 47
Attach Blue Yarn with a slst, ch1
Row 48. 1sc in each st across and FO-24sts.
Before sealing the bag, sew all the pieces on first. Then with yellow yarn seal both sides of the bag by working 1slst all the way across where the blue and yellow come together & FO.











To make the Eye: with Grey Yarn & D Hook (use a stitch marker)











Ch2
Row 1. 6sc in the 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st-12sts.
Row 3. 1sc in 1, 2sc in the next st-18sts.
Row 4. 1sc in 2, 2sc in the next st-24sts.
Row 5. 1sc in the FLO in each st-24sts.
Row 6. 1sc in each st-24sts.
Row 7. repeat row 6
Row 8. 1sc in the BLO in 24sts.
Row 9. 1sc in each st-24sts.
Row 10. repeat row 9 and FO.
Cut out a piece of white felt to fit inside the eye. Cut out a small piece of brown & black, and glue in place. Cut out a small piece of yellow felt and make the eye lid.

To make the Black Band for the goggle: with F Hook
Ch25
Row 1. 1sc in 24sts, ch1 & turn.
Row 2. repeat row 1 and FO.
Sew eye to the band and then sew the band to the front of the bag.

To make the Tongue: with Light Raspberry & G Hook
Ch2
Row 1. 5sc in 2nd st from the hook.
Row 2. 2sc in each st-10sts.
Row 3. 1sc, 2sc in the next st-15sts.
Row 4. 1sc in each st-15sts.
Rows 5-7. repeat row 4 and FO.
Pinch the tongue in the middle and sew in place underneath the eye.

To make the Tic-Tac-Toe Bars: with Yellow & D Hook
Make 2, ch25 and FO
Make 2, 17 and FO
Sew to the blue front side of the bag.

The front & side closures: with Blue Yarn & G Hook (make 2)










Ch19
Row 1. 1sc in 18sts and FO.
Sew in place like in the photo.

You can make these little X's & O's or use buttons.

Daisy Tic-Tac-Toe Travel Game Bag©


The markers are cute little daisies and leaves...
also there's plenty of room for other essentials that every little girl needs!
When your all done simply put your pieces inside the pouch and go!

Materials
Color A Spring Green
Color B Dark Forest Green
Small amount of Yellow & White
Matching Thread
Sewing needle Flower buttons (4) The buttons are not crucial, kids like them. I put them also to add to the look of the bag.
Hook Size 
G 4.0mm
Abbreviations Used
ch-chain
sl-st-slip stitch
sc-single crochet
hdc-half double crochet
dc-double crochet
wk-work

Ch 26
Row 1
1 sc in each st across, ch1 turn
Repeat Row 1 for
Rows 2-55 if not doing the buttons sc to row 56 like the above rows
Row 56
1 sc in first st, ch 3, sk next 3 sts, 1 sc in next 17sts, ch 3, sk bext 3 sts, 1sc in the next st
Row 57wk 4 sc in each of button holes, then wk 1 sc in each st across and fasten off.
Attach dark green into any st, ch 1, wk 1 sc in every st all the way around the rectangle.

Now fold your bag so that you have about 1 inch at the bottom half. Sew your buttons on making sure they line up with the button holes.
With dark green thread sew up the sides of the bag leaving about 1/2 inch, that will leave enough room for the buttons.

For Handle
Ch 36 or enough to fit around your child's hand when folded in half.
Row 1, wk 1 sc in each st across, fasten off.

Sew one side of handle to the inside of the bag near the button hole. Sew the other half on the inside flap.

Make 2 horizontal lines
Ch about 28, wk 1 sc in every st across, fasten off.

Make 2 vertican lines
Ch about 22, sc in each st across and fasten off.
Sew all 4 lines in place on the inside flap.

For the vine on the front of bag.
Make a chain long enough to reach from the bottom of one corner on the right and one on the upper left corner of the bag. Sew to the front of the bag.

With yellow yarn make the center of the flower
Ch 2
Row 1, wk 6 sc in the 2nd st from hook
Row 2, wk 2 sc in each st around, fasten off (12sts)

With white make pedals
Ch 3
1 trl in the same st as ch 3, ch 3 sl st into the same st. sl st into the next st and repeat.
Repeat 7 times.

To make the markers I used a much thinner yarn and a size C crochet hook. I followed the patten above but used a dc instead.

For the Leaf
Ch 6
wk 1 sl st in the 1st ch st, 1 sc in the next, hdc, wk 2 dc in the next, ch 1, wk 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st, fasten off.
Use a smaller hook to make the maker leaves.

Here's another variation in yellow & pink and I used buttons for the game pieces...
